| August 2016 | | | Dear Students and Colleagues, Catering: Opening of Fan Pui Garden Catering Outpost and Menu Price Adjustment of Fong Shu Chuen Amenities Centre Restaurant
1. Opening of Fan Pui Garden Catering Outpost at Sassoon Road Campus
We are pleased to announce that the Fan Pui Garden Catering Outpost will commence operation on August 29, 2016 (Monday) at 11:00 a.m.. The outpost would be run by SUBWAY, offering made-to-order submarine sandwiches, snacks, drinks. Location: Fan Pui Garden, LG/F William M.W. Mong Block, 21 Sassoon Road (adjacent to Yu Chun Keung Medical Library)
Operation Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Mon – Sat); CLOSED (Sun & University Holidays)
2. Menu Price Adjustment – Fong Shu Chuen Amenities Centre Restaurant The University has approved the request of Asia Pacific Catering Corporation Ltd. for upward menu price adjustment of the Fong Shu Chuen Amenities Centre Restaurant. The new pricing would be effective on September 1, 2016 (Thursday). Please refer to HERE for the menu with new pricing. | August 2016 | | | Dear Students and Colleagues, Catering: Closure of HKU Halal Food Corner (Ebeneezer’s Kebabs & Pizzeria) during August 27 – 30, 2016) The HKU Halal Food Corner (Ebeneezer’s Kebabs & Pizzeria) located at 1/F Fong Shu Chuen Amenities Centre will be closed from August 27, 2016 (Saturday) to August 30, 2016 (Tuesday) for minor renovation and improvement work. The outlet will resume normal service on August 31, 2016 (Wednesday). Should you have any query regarding the above arrangement, please feel free to contact the Catering Manager at catering@cedars.hku.hk.

| May 2016 | | | Dear Students and Colleagues, Update on Campus Catering Services (Union Restaurant; Halal Food Corner; New Catering Outpost in Sassoon Road Campus)
1. Union Restaurant
A 2-year extension of contract has been granted to Asia Pacific Catering Corporation Ltd., current operator of the Union Restaurant located at 4/F of Haking Wong Building with effect from June 1, 2016. A new price list would be implemented on the same day. Please check HERE for the updated menu and pricing. 2. Halal Food Corner A 2-year extension of contract has been granted to Harcourt International Ltd ., current operator of the Halal Food Corner (viz. Ebeneezer’s Kababs and Pizzeria) located at 1/F of Fong Shu Chuen Amenities Centre with effect from July 11, 2016. A new price list would be implemented on the same day. 3. New Catering Outpost at Fan Pui Garden, Sassoon Road Campus Subsequent to a selection exercise for the operator of the new catering outpost at Fan Pui Garden located at LG/F of the William M.W. Mong Block (adjacent to the Yu Chun Keung Medical Library), the contract was awarded to Rekhani International Ltd. and the outpost would be operated under the franchise of SUBWAY.
