Arrangements during Bad Weather Conditions

Under the occasion of Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement, Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal issued by the Hong Kong Observatory, “Extreme conditions” after super typhoons are in force (announced by the Government before the Hong Kong Observatory replaces Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 with Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3), special arrangements on campus catering services will be implemented as follows, unless otherwise specified:

Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement

Issued BEFORE normal opening hours	Remain closed
Issued DURING normal opening hours	Remain open

Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above

In force BEFORE normal opening hours	Remain closed
In force AFTER 3:00 p.m. on a normal business day	Remain closed
The signal is lowered AFTER normal opening hours and BEFORE 3:00 p.m. on a normal business day	Services will resume gradually within 3 hours after the signal is lowered and where conditions permit
In force DURING normal opening hours	Closed immediately

Black Rainstorm Warning Signal

Issued BEFORE normal opening hours	Outlets will open within 3 hours after the signal is lowered and where conditions permit
Issued DURING normal opening hours	Remain open

“Extreme Conditions” After Super Typhoons are In Force

In force BEFORE normal opening hours	Remain closed
In force AFTER 3:00 p.m. on a normal business day	Remain closed
The conditions are cancelled AFTER normal opening hours and BEFORE 3:00 p.m. on a normal business day	Services will resume gradually within 3 hours after the conditions are cancelled and where conditions permit
