| Summary 內容: | To commemorate the first anniversary of the 311 earthquake and tsunami, we present a big band jazz concert led by Japanese conductor Mr. Taka Hirohama. Big band jazz is characterized by its swinging rhythm and large ensemble of musicians. With this energetic and uplifting music, we wish to send our deepest blessings for the recovery of Japan. Japanese university students promoting ‘Thanks from Japan’ are flying in to express their gratitude to the people of Hong Kong and share the progress of recovery. This event is supported by the Faculty of Arts, Union Philharmonic Orchestra, Music Club, Music Society and Japanese Society. |
