The passion for Hong Kong football is on the rise with the qualifying rounds of World Cup 2018 and dramatically enough, in the time of fluctuating struggle for national identity, Hong Kong will face China at home in November. Is it real passion for the sport? Or is it just a tool for emotional release? One thing is certain: Hong Kong’s athletes here definitely deserve much more of our attention and respect. We have invited scholars and local heroes to talk about the development of Hong Kong football and its role in Hong Kong’s history and culture. Will Hong Kong football experience a lively springtime or a cold dead winter in the coming years?

現為香港理工大學香港專上學院講師。研究興趣包括香港政治和香港足球史，近作《足球王國：戰後初期的香港足球》於2015年出版。
盧國華先生 Mr. Lo Kwok Wah
一代鋼門、任教多支球隊、現役港隊門將葉鴻輝師父
One of HK's best goal keepers, Mr. Lo has also ben coaching various local Premier League teams. He is mentor of Yapp Hung Fai - captain/goalkeeper of current HK National Football Team.
黃文偉先生 Mr. Wong Man Wai
16歲代表中華民國參加羅馬奧運，曾效力及執教愉園、南華、東方等多支本地球隊，2014年成立黃文偉足球學校
Represented team China in 1960's Rome Olympic Game at mere age of 16. Since then he has played and coached in numerous local Premier League teams and opened his own football school in 2014

莫逸風先生 Mr. Mok Yat Fung
出版工作者、編輯兼作者、香港無家者世界盃籌委。曾編著多本足球作品，包括《香港足球誌》等。
A publisher, editor, author,Mr. Mok is also the organizer of Homeless World Cup in HK. He has written various books about HK Football.
黃海榮先生 Mr. Wong Hoi Wing
嶺南大學文化研究碩士。自小受熱愛足球的父親影響，風雨不改入球場看球賽。書寫《香港足球誌》，發掘一個個關於香港足球的故事，為本土歷史留一點紀錄。
Master of Cultural Studies in Lingnan University. Since early childhood, Mr. Wong has been watching live HK football matches in stadiums. He has also been co-writing with Mr. Mok Yat Fung on books on local football history.
陳曉明先生 Mr. Chan Hiu Ming
國際足協、亞洲足協及香港足球總會教練導師，曾擔任香港08、香港09以及東方、天水圍飛馬等領隊及總教練。
Coach trainers of FIFA, the Asian Football Association and the Hong Kong Football Association. He also served "HK 08", "HK 09" as well as many local premier league teams as manager and head coach.
山度士先生 Mr. Leslie George Santos
球員生涯為球隊奪得多項主要錦標，並多次獲得香港傑出運動員、香港足球先生等榮譽。現為香港車路士足球學校技術總監。
During his remarkable football career, Mr. Santos has led his teams into winning many major championships, as well as a good number of awards such as the Hong Kong Sports Stars Awards and Hong Kong Top Footballer Awards. He is now the technical director of ChelseaFC Soccer School (HK).
