All programmes are non-credit bearing and open to all current HKU students. Enrolment is on a first-come-first-admitted basis unless otherwise specified. To enrol, students should complete and return the enrolment form to the GE Office. Copies of the form can be collected at the enrolment counter and downloaded from the GE website. Besides, online registration is available for the programmes that do not require a deposit or fee.
Students have to pay a REFUNDABLE deposit (in cash) and/or a NON-REFUNDABLE fee (in cash) for some of the programmes. Students with proven financial need may apply for partial or full waiver of the non-refundable programme fees.
Simultaneous Interpretation Service
Simultaneous interpretation will be available in English or Putonghua for specified activities conducted in Cantonese. Students may request the service by checking the relevant box on the enrolment form.
