The Hong Kong government will soon announce the application details of the 2022/23 Administrative Officer Recruitment Exercise. Have you ever wondered what an Administrative Officer does? Are you eager to join the civil service sector? Join the sharing session with Joan Yao on 26 September 2022.


As part of the Job Secret Decoder series, we have invited Joan Yao from our full-time Class of 2017 to share about her career journey as an Administrative Officer after graduation. This is an interactive Zoom session, you are welcome to ask questions after listening to Joan's sharing. No matter what your background is, join us to hear from Joan:

Speaker:
Joan Yao (BSocSc(Govt&Laws)&LLB 2017)

Graduated from the HKU Government and Laws programme, Joan became an Administrative Officer in the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. She is currently working at the Development Bureau, overseeing Government land sale and private housing land supply. She also has experience working at the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (Financial Services Branch) and the Chief Secretary for Administration’s Private Office. Joan is passionate about the formulation of public policy and its implications to society.
