Seminar 4:  How to Stand Out in Group Interview [Zoom Session]

Time to prepare for your career. CEB is here to pump you up!

Career Engine Builder (CEB) is a series of career seminars for students of all levels and years of study by CEDARS-Careers and Placement. The seminars will be delivered by experienced trainers and industry professionals to equip you with fundamental job searching skills and critical job application techniques.

Repeated 60-minute seminars of a total of four topics will be held on a rolling basis, alternating between face-to-face and Zoom format.

Participant attended at least one seminar will be eligible for a Career Pit Stop coaching session.

 

Fundamental Career Seminars

Time for every session: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Seminar 1. Get Started with your Career Planning & Job Searching •             Identical sessions: 18 October (Face-to-face) / 20 October (Zoom) / 28 October (Zoom) [NEW] •             Understand how to explore possible career options and develop a career plan •             Get to know the resources available to support your career planning and job searching

Seminar 2. Building your CV & Cover Letter •             Identical sessions:24 October (Face-to-face)  / 26 October (Zoom) / 1 November (Zoom) [NEW] •             Learn the essential structure in writing your CV and cover letter •             Find out how to demonstrate and make the most of your past experience on CV

Seminar 3. How to Pass a Job Interview •             Identical sessions: 25 October (Face-to-face) / 27 October (Zoom) / 7 November (Zoom) [NEW] •             Learn what employers want to know about you and how to present your best self in an interview •             Grasp the key interview techniques to get the job you want

Seminar 4. How to Stand Out in Group Interview •             Identical sessions: 31 October (Face-to-face) / 2 November (Zoom) / 8 November (Zoom) [NEW] •             Understand what employers are looking for in a group interview •             Pick up the know-hows to become an outstanding candidate amongst your competitors
