Career Engine Builder (CEB) is a series of career seminars for students of all levels and years of study by CEDARS-Careers and Placement. The seminars will be delivered by experienced trainers and industry professionals to equip you with fundamental job searching skills and critical job application techniques.
Repeated 60-minute seminars of a total of four topics in Zoom format.
Participant attended at least one seminar will be eligible for a Career Pit Stop coaching session.

Seminar 1. Get Started with your Career Planning & Job Searching • Winter break session: 6 January 2023 (Zoom) • Understand how to explore possible career options and develop a career plan • Get to know the resources available to support your career planning and job searching |
Seminar 2. Building your CV & Cover Letter • Winter break session: 9 January 2023 (Zoom) • Learn the essential structure in writing your CV and cover letter • Find out how to demonstrate and make the most of your past experience on CV |
Seminar 3. How to Pass a Job Interview • Winter break session: 10 January 2023 (Zoom) • Learn what employers want to know about you and how to present your best self in an interview • Grasp the key interview techniques to get the job you want |
Seminar 4. How to Stand Out in a Group Interview • Winter break session: 12 January 2023 (Zoom) • Understand what employers are looking for in a group interview • Pick up the know-hows to become an outstanding candidate amongst your competitors |
