Two
years ago, Kwok Ka Po Jojo began developing DineWell AI out of
frustration — unable to find reliable nutritional information about dishes when
dining out. What started as a simple manual process of calculating calories and
macronutrients for restaurant dishes soon evolved into something far more
ambitious. Today, she has returned with a new product and a fresh identity — as
co-founder of Body Nova Limited.

Today, she sat confidently across the table,
proudly introducing DineWell AI — her intelligent nutrition app that is
transforming the way people dine out.
The app enables users to discover restaurants
on a map and instantly view detailed calorie and macronutrient information for
each dish. Already live in Hong Kong and New York, the app is scheduled to
launch in London this summer, and has already attracted over 10,000 users.
Standout features include AI-powered photo recognition, allowing users to snap
a picture of their meal and fine-tune the results by adjusting portion sizes,
sauces, or side dishes. The app also incorporates principles of Traditional
Chinese Medicine (TCM), labelling dishes as “warming” or “cooling.”
Behind the scenes, the accuracy of information
is ensured through recipes provided by chefs from partner restaurants, which
are carefully analysed by qualified dietitians and TCM practitioners. For
non-partner venues, advanced AI calculation combined with professional judgement
delivers reliable estimations.
Jojo spoke openly about the early challenges. “We sent
out over a hundred emails inviting partners and received only eight replies. Many restaurants feared
that revealing high-calorie dishes would put customers off.” Undeterred, she
focused on inviting health-conscious establishments and well-known brands,
eventually proving that transparency builds greater trust and customer loyalty.

Angel Symposium, a flagship event that aims to nurture emerging innovation and entrepreneurship
initiatives.
