All students who have paid composition fees can use the following services. They are provided by or arranged through the University Health Service, mostly without charges:

• Primary medical care at the Health Centre

• Specialist care and hospital care at the public specialist clinic or public ward of Government hospitals at local citizen or public rate* by referral (for full time student only and excluding maternity care)

• Physiotherapy (at a charge)

• Assistance to students with a disability

• Health education

• Self-care Centre for Travellers

• Preventive measures including most immunizations, Well Woman Clinic and Hepatitis Clinic (charged services)

• Medical aids, equipment and appliances at a charge

• Dental service (at a subsidized rate)

The University Health Service is located on 2/F & 3/F of Meng Wah Complex.

* For specialist care and hospital care in government clinics and Hospital

• If you are a local citizen, you will be charged at public rate
• If you are NOT a local citizen, you will be charged at private rates. You should, therefore, purchase comprehensive private medical and hospital insurance covering the whole period of your study in Hong Kong.
