The ship symbolizes HKU, carrying every student to navigate in the sea of wits. Although there are waves surging, we can still learn and grow comfortably here. Besides, the paddles are designed in the shape of wings, which symbolize students’ independent thinking and their dreams to fly freely in HKU and beyond. University is not an end but the beginning of a life of learning and exploration. We wish that every student can achieve their dreams at HKU and lead a glorious future.
