香港著名舞蹈家梅卓燕的最新作品《日記VII • 我來給你講個故事…… 》透過文字、光影、聲音，揉合如水的身段及身體的印記，書寫多年來與流浪貓同行的經歷。通過貓咪狡黠而機敏的眼晴，凝視世界變遷，倒影我城明暗。豎起尾巴，走過年月輪替；踮起腳尖，撫滑生命感知；垂首舔舐，逐漸消逝的舊城故事。

“Diary VII • The Story Of......” was stories of the renowned Hong Kong Dancer, Mui Cheuk Yin, with stray cats. It used text, props, images and agile movement to find subtle parallels between feline traits and her own philosophy of life. The encounter between human beings and stray cats as a metaphor was moving smoothly into exploring issues from social phenomenon to daily life events. Her central ideology has developed in depth through exquisite choreography and with deeply heartfelt emotions.

演後工作坊Post-performance Workshop
Choreographer, Mui Cheuk Yin and lighting designer, Lee Chi Wai will disclose the creative process of the performance “Diary VII • The Story Of......”. They will use the elements from the performance to explain the exploration and development of the physical and emotional relationship between the performer and objects.
The lighting designer, Lee Chi Wai, will also demonstrate how to use minimal lighting equipment to create an outstanding effect. He will facilitate various experimental exercises on lighting for students to experience the magic of stage lighting.

梅卓燕 Mui Cheuk Yin

梅卓燕1973年起在香港隨劉素琴老師學習中國古典民間舞及東南亞舞蹈。1981-1990年加入香港舞蹈團，1985年於香港青年編舞大賽中獲中國舞組冠軍，獲獎學金到紐約學習現代舞。梅氏於1990年成為獨立舞蹈工作者，曾獲亞洲文化協會資助，曾參加美國舞蹈節國際編舞營，並於夏威夷大學的東西中心表演。回港後於城市當代舞蹈團、香港舞蹈團及香港演藝學院擔任編舞。

梅氏為國際著名舞蹈家及編舞家，被譽為香港「舞蹈大使」。以「遊走於傳統與現代、東方與西方」的風格馳名國際，成就斐然並歷年來獲獎無數，作品風格遊走於傳統與現代。曾獲香港舞蹈聯盟頒發五屆「香港舞蹈年奬」（2000、2001、2009、2013及2022年）及2012年之「傑出成就獎」。另於2021年獲香港藝術發展局頒授「藝術家年獎」，表揚梅氏對本港舞蹈發展孜孜不倦的投入與貢獻。

梅氏主要作品包括《遊園驚夢》、《狂草》、《滿庭芳》、《水音》、《白描》、《水銀瀉》、《關於某些女人的故事》、《獨步》、《女相》、《弓弦之間》、《華麗與蒼涼》、《軀體亂彈》、《花葬》、《十月紅》、《3X2體》、《情男色女－達利vs加拉》、《流蓮歡》、《風‧水》中的《水》、《再世尋梅》、《季節性效應》中的《第N季節》、《紫‧釵‧緣》及《日記VI．謝幕……》、《日記VII．我來給你講個故事》、《囍 - 紅色的承諾》等。

近年梅氏以獨舞家身份應邀赴比利時、里斯本、倫敦、柏林、巴黎、紐約等城市藝術節表演獨舞創作。1998年及2008年代表香港應邀參與翩娜‧包殊伍珀塔爾舞蹈劇場廿五週年紀念節及三十週年紀念節演出，好評如潮。1999年應邀赴威尼斯雙年展表演後，翌年再獲邀參加哥本哈根的舞蹈節及里昂雙年展，並為德國福克旺舞蹈團編排《花落知多少》及參與翩娜‧包殊舞團的《春之祭》演出。2001年獲邀參與北京的中國國際現代舞展演。2002及2003年分別獲邀於東京舞蹈雙年展及哥本哈根「亞洲萬象節」演出。

李智偉 Lee Chi Wai

1977年生於香港。
以舞台設計的身份活躍於香港舞蹈界别。
職業初期有幸進入城市當代舞蹈團技術部工作,在那段日子遇到了不少對日後影響深遠人和事。
現在處於被動但集中的創作階段,希望在這個大時代中能保持頭腦清醒,堅持做以後自己會記得的作品。
