Summary 內容: | The MaD Forum is a regional event that endows Asian young people with a creative, socially conscious, and boundary-crossing mind-set, and empowers them to create positive change. Comprised of thematic talks, interactive activities, and other 2.0 activities, MaD 2013 is a forum for inspirations and a platform for actions, with a line-up of over 20 international thought leaders. 30 students of HKU have received our Unit's sponsorship to take part in it. As one of the Participants' Sponsors of MaD 2013 Forum, the General Education Unit, proudly presents you with the following programmes. Before the official opening of the Forum, you will be exposed to the critical issues of local and global development, which will be able to stimulate the thoughts ahead of our time. As a young designer, Emily was frustrated by the design world's lack of meaningful work. Trained in architecture (UC Berkeley) and product design (SAIC), she is convinced of the power of design to change the world, Emily founded Project H to help develop effective design solutions for the people who need them most.
