| Summary 內容: | This film show is part of the GE series entitled "The Vision of BRICS". This film is recommended by the South African consulate. "Tsotsi" literally means "thug" or "gangster" in the street language of South Africa's townships and ghettos. Set amidst the sprawling Johannesburg township of Soweto - where survival is the primary objective - TSOTSI traces six days in the life of a ruthless young gang leader who ends up caring for a baby accidentally kidnapped during a car-jacking. The film won the 2005 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and was nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film in 2006.
