Summary 內容: Recognizing that America’s future prosperity and security will be closely intertwined with developments in Asia, President Barack Obama has made a strategic commitment to rebalance U.S. foreign policy efforts to increase the level of engagement with countries and multilateral institutions throughout Asia. At this event, U.S. Consul General for Hong Kong and Macau Clifford A. Hart, Jr., will discuss the ongoing U.S. foreign policy rebalance to Asia, the components of this strategic commitment, and the continuing importance of U.S. relations with Hong Kong and Macau as a part of this policy.
 
This is part of the PeaceMakers ConFest co-organised by the General Education Unit, HKU and UNESCO Hong Kong. And this session is supported by the Consulate General of the United States in Hong Kong & Macau.
