It is a common criticism that technological inventions and achievements in scientific research in Hong Kong have fallen behind those of Europe and the US. Some say that this is a misconception. Others endeavor to prove the critics wrong by taking up the tough challenges of breaking into the international arena.  
 
Three young HKU graduates accomplished a significant breakthrough in biomaterials. By daring to dream big, Dr. Wilson Wong, the founder of this biotech startup Novus, helps patients with osteoarthritis to lessen their pain with their new inventions. The startup was chosen as one of the top 50 finalists in 'Global Entrepreneurship Week'. Together with his partners, Dr. Wong will show you their scientific dream driven by a desire to help patients.
