| Summary 內容: | Maksim the Piano Player will perform his showcase in HKU! Born and raised in Croatia, Maksim made his international breakthrough in 2003 when his third album, Piano Player, achieved Platinum in Taiwan and Croatia and Double Platinum in Hong Kong. Maksim the piano virtuoso, will demonstrate his flamboyant techniques and his talent in classical crossover music and perform the music from his latest album, "Appasionata". In this album recorded in the legendary Abbey Road Studios, brand new arrangement is made based on classical music including Bizet's Carmen and Saint-Saens' Animals Carnival. Maksim injects a new life into these classical tunes with elements from pop and electronic music.Maksim will be joined by an award-winning pianist from the Mainland China, Xue Xiaoqiu in the showcase.
