In 1989, after witnessing and reporting news on the pro-democracy movement in China, Hong Kong reporters put their heads together to compile a first-hand account and published the chronicle People Will Not Forget. Twenty-eight years on, four Hong Kong reporters will come to HKU to provide their eyewitness accounts – from the death of General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Hu Yaobang, the trigger and bloody military crackdown on the Tiananmen Square protests, to the immediate and subsequent impact of June 4 incident on developments in Hong Kong. | Bio of Speaker(s) 講者簡介: | 陳慧兒女士 Ms Lucy Chan 無綫電視、有線電視、《蘋果日報》前政治記者，曾採訪中英前途談判、聯合聲明簽署、基本法草擬、六四事件、九七回歸；並曾在過去兩次特首選舉擔任梁家傑、唐英年的傳媒顧問。1989年時為無綫電視新聞部記者的陳女士，於3月兩會期間被派往北京採訪，首次在北京大學校園見到方勵之及王丹；及後胡耀邦於4月15日猝逝，陳再被派往北京，直至5月30日被召回香港。 劉銳紹先生 Mr Johnny Lau 時事評論員，人稱「夫子」，曾任職《文匯報》駐北京記者，自1986年起駐北京，直至民運結束。1989年，六四事件爆發，期間劉銳紹親歷事態發展，曾協助安排政府與民運參與者會面。劉銳紹熟識中國大陸事務，常在香港傳媒發表時事評論，現為香港電台的嘉賓主持。 麥燕庭女士 Ms Mak Yin Ting 麥燕庭女士在印刷媒體和電子媒體工作超過30年，並於2007至2008年擔任香港記者協會總幹事，1996至1997及1999至2003年更是該會的主席。麥女士於1989年4月22日至6月5日在北京採訪，期間曾於5月初回港不足一星期。 Moderator: 陳潤芝女士 Ms Ida Chan 新聞工作者，歷任無綫、港台、亞視、加拿大四十七台，現任有線電視直播新聞台台長。2008年底赴美國西岸訪問一批流亡民運人士，回港訪問黃雀行動執行人陳達鉦、以及回內地訪問時為維權律師的浦志強，寫成《六四二○》一書。陳女士於1989年5月31日至6月5日在北京採訪。 |
