Tammy Cheung | In Cantonese with Chinese and English subtitles During the seventh lunar month, when the Ghost Festival takes place, Chinese pay tribute to their ancestors and offer food to the deceased to appease them and ward off bad luck. In Hong Kong, besides staging ceremonies to honor the dead, many Taoist organizations give away rice to the elderly and the poor. The rice distribution depicted in this film was one of the largest events, and attracted over eight thousand people. The event was scheduled to last from nine in the morning to six in the evening. | Bio of Speaker(s) 講者簡介: | Wong Siu Pong （黃肇邦） Wong Siu Pong graduated from Hong Kong Shue Yan University. His works were shown at several international film festivals. His works include Fish Story, Connection and Snuggle. 黃肇邦畢業於香港樹仁大學，作品先後入選多個國際影展。其作品包括《子非魚》、《延長線》及《伴生》。 Tammy Cheung （張虹） Tammy Cheung studied Film Studies and organised film festivals in Cananda, she is the founder of Chinese Documentary Festival and a documentary director.
