Summary 內容: 樂壇的成功,不單靠鎂光燈下的幕前表演者,更有賴幕後人一同努力。
趙增熹於1986年入行,擔任作曲、編曲、唱片監製、演唱會音樂總監及電影配樂等工作,是各大演唱會炙手可熱的音樂總監,曾參與聯合監製「香港醫學發展一百卅年」主題曲《杏林遍地》,女兒就讀港大醫學系。
港大法律系畢業的周博賢,身兼作曲、填詞、編曲、監製多職,不時把時政議題寫入作品。他曾負責香港大學百週年校慶曲目《明我以德》的編曲和監製,亦是著名歌手謝安琪的監製及作詞人。
港大畢業、取得執業牙醫資格的許廷鏗,參加歌唱比賽入行後展開牙醫、藝人雙棲生涯。三名擔任不同崗位的音樂人,將分享他們如何入行,以及香港樂壇是否還有明天。
本講座是《金曲40大講堂》其中一節,由香港電台及香港大學通識教育部合辦。

The success of music industry does not rely on those under the spotlight only, but also the concerted efforts of many unsung heroes behind the scene.
Chiu Tsang-hei began his music career in 1986, and works in music composition, music arrangement, producing, music directing of pop concerts and film scoring. He is in high demand as a music director of pop concerts, and the co-producer of “130 Years of Medicine in Hong Kong” theme song 《杏林遍地》 and a parent of a MBBS student.
Adrian Chow (LLB 1991; PCLL 1992; LLM 1994) has established himself as an all-round composer-lyricist-arranger-producer, and displays in his compassionate tunes of socio-political concerns. He is the co-producer and did the music arrangement of the HKU 100 song Brighten Me with Virtues. Chow is also the long-term producer and lyricist of Cantopop singer Kay Tse.
Alfred Hui (BDS 2012) enjoys his two-faceted life as a qualified dentist cum artist. The three of them who are playing different roles in the sector will share with us why they started their music career, and whether there is a future for the Hong Kong music industry.
Co-organised by RTHK and General Education Unit, HKU, this talk is part of the programme Gold Songs 40 Master Class.
