| Summary 內容: | 一種真理： 1＋1＝2 一種真理：《紅樓夢》的意境空靈。 第一種屬於知識真理，例如數學、物理學、社會學、統計學……等等，我們稱為「外延真理」（extensional truth）。知識真理是可以透過客觀的程序和量化的方式，檢證其真、假值，所以是客觀的。例如大家一起望望窗外，觀察是否下雨，又或用尺、溫度計等儀器，計算馬路有多長，量度體溫有多少度。 至於藝術世界、道德價值、宗教信仰，它們的性質截然不同，不能用量化的方式量度其真、假值，我們稱為「內容真理」（intensional truth）。我們只能透過主體的「修行」來印證它們的內涵或境界。不過，問題就出現：如何量度「修行」？甚麼是「深刻」的感受？甚麼是「真摯」的友誼？很容易引起主觀的論斷危機：大家會認為美是沒有標準的，道德人格是相對的，宗教信仰只不過是心理的投射……內容真理的內涵不外是觀點與角度，一切價值判斷都是相對的。 我們希望「挽救」它們。 There are two kinds of truth: extensional truth and intensional truth. The former refers to truth from knowledge, such as Mathematics, Physics, Sociology, Statistics. The value of a ‘truth’ can be confirmed by objective procedures and quantitative methods. For example, we use ruler and thermometer to measure length and temperature. In contrast, the truth values of art, morality and religion cannot be measured quantitatively. This intensional truth can only be verified by the subjects’ ‘practice’. But how we measure ‘practice’? What is ‘deep’ feeling? What is a ‘sincere’ friendship? It is easy to lead to a judgement crisis of subjectivity: the connotation of intensional truth is only a matter of perspectives and all judgement is relative. | Bio of Speaker(s) 講者簡介: |  文潔華教授 Prof. Eva Man文潔華教授現為香港浸會大學電影學院總監、人文學講座教授。她的研究及著作範圍包括：比較美學、比較哲學、女性主義哲學、文化研究、性別研究、文化藝術等。著作包括《美學與性別衝突：女性主義審美革命的中國境遇》、《自主的族群：十位香港新一代女性視覺藝術家》、《性別與創造：女性主義美學及其他》、《藝術自然與人:中國美學的傳統與現代》。編著包括《雜嘜時代：文化身份、性別、日常生活實踐與香港電影1970》、《朱光潛與當代中國美學》、《粵語的政治：香港語言文化的異質與多元》等。她於2004年獲得美國福布萊特研究獎學金到柏克萊加州大學當訪問學人，於2009至2010年獲委為美國威斯康辛州馬其特大學百周年紀念婦女聯會講座教授。文教授曾為香港藝術發展局委員，現於康文署及民政事務局及賽馬會大館藝術管理小組擔任顧問及其他公職。  陶國璋博士 Dr. Tao Kwok-cheung香港中文大學哲學系兼職客席助理教授，主要研究興趣在中西比較哲學、形上學與中國哲學。講授科目包括：「中國文化要義」、「中國哲學主流思想」、「死亡與不朽」、「哲學與人生」、「電影、哲學與人生」等。 |
