| Summary 內容: | 探索世界不應被語言阻隔！故此，通識以粵語主講的活動皆附設英語或普通話即時傳譯，讓來自不同地區的學生都可擁有相同的學習機會。要成為一位稱職的即時傳譯員，除了需要專業技巧訓練，更要掌握不同層面的知識。是次工作坊將介紹即時傳譯基本技巧及方法，歡迎所有有興趣的同學參加。完成工作坊並符合要求的同學將有機會成為我們的傳譯員。 Language should not be a barrier to learning. Therefore, simultaneous interpretation in English or Putonghua is available for GE programmes conducted in Cantonese so as to maximise the learning opportunities for non-local students. Professional training is a must to become a competent simultaneous interpreter, while mastering various fields of knowledge is also crucial. This workshop will cover the basic skills and strategies of the field. Competent students who finish the workshop will have the opportunity to join our SI Team. | Bio of Speaker(s) 講者簡介: | 陳永傑先生現任職於香港大學中文學院教學助理負責中英翻譯，正修讀翻譯系的碩士課程，同時為自由工作翻譯員。 Mr. Steven Chan is a Teaching Assistant of English-Chinese interpreting at the School of Chinese, HKU. He is currently an MPhil candidate of translation studies and a freelance interpreter and translator. |
