Summary 內容: | The unprecedented turnout of events spanning this past year has left Hong Kong in a storm of confusion, doubt, and anger. Conflicts between people with different political views have worsened the division in society. And the deepened public distrust of the government has made policy implementation even more challenging. In this sharing session, our student hosts will deliver bitesize, digestible, and an objective recount of Hong Kong’s recent turnouts. We hope this is an open platform where students can feel free to exchange different opinions with mutual respect. ‘Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere’ -Martin Luther King Jr. Global News Chat is a platform for students from various backgrounds to share their personal views and insights on the current global issues that they care about.
