Hawaiian Culture and Dance
Most people have heard of the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands. A privileged few have been able to see these for themselves as residents or tourists. However, beyond the surface beauty, Hawaii has a deep and rich culture, appreciated more and more by people all over the world. As an example, in Japan alone there are over 400,000 people associated with schools dedicated to the teaching of the Hawaiian dance, the Hula.

In this course, you will see the unique landscape of the major islands, smell the fragrance of the flowers, listen to the beat of the traditional gourd drum, and last but not least, dance the world-famous Hula.

Session 1  Introduction to Hawaii (16/9)
