在北區，你可以找到很多舊人、舊事、舊建築。
本課程擺脫白紙黑字學習模式，同學將置身於北區的大街小巷，利用五觀──聽、聞、嗅、看及觸去感受北區的人民風情及本土氣息。
下半部分學員將以團隊比賽的形式，透過之前的體驗，在香港大學建築文物保護課程導師的指導下，設計一條屬於大家的導賞路線，並製作一段短片宣傳，帶領街坊想當年，說故事，讓更多人了解這個社區。勝出的組別將有機會獲資助參與有關文化歷史的旅遊。
The North District is one of Hong Kong's largest districts with much unique cultural heritage.
In this course, students will experience the local lives of people from the North District and the unique customs of this area, through five sensational realms. In addition, they will be given the opportunity to design their own route as a team with all the experiences and stories collected under the guidance of professionals in designing heritage tours, as well as tutors from the Architectural Conservation Programmes. The process of route-designing would be organised in a competition format and the winning team may be granted a sponsorship for a cultural heritage tour.

Bio of Instructor(s) 導師簡介:
區志堅博士 Dr. Au Chi Kin香港浸會大學博士，現任香港樹仁大學歷史學系助理教授、歷史系通識課程主任歷史教育支援及研究中心副主任。歷任香港理工大學轄下香港專上學院助理課程總監兼高級講師、香港佛教能仁專上學院榮譽教授、香港註冊導遊協會旅遊從業員培訓課程學術顧問、香港警務處歷史學會顧問、香港城市大學中國文化中心高級研究員暨名譽研究員等,並為多間中學中國歷史科及通識科專題研習顧問。
陳智遠先生 Mr. Paul Chan熱愛流浪闖天下，踏足過超過80個國家，人生終極目標始終是環遊世界。曾創辦Roundtable、在大學教授國際政治、客串《頭條新聞》及擔任食物及衞生局政治助理。創辦了活現香港（Walk in Hong Kong），推動文化及知識旅遊。
朱耀光先生 Mr. Chu Yiu Kwong朱耀光老師為鄉土學社成員之一，主修歷史，曾任教中學的歷史 科及通識科，現全職投身口述歷史教學及可持續生活教育。自2011年起，朱耀光老師與學生進行馬屎埔農村的口述歷史研習，他不但致力搜集農村村民的社群回 憶，探討口述歷史與社群意識的關係 ，更以說唱形式分享農村故事，希望讓青年找到自己與香港土地的聯繫。
