GE2015-60A
PerformanceTitus Andronicus 2.0《
This is probably the goriest of Shakespeare’s works. Director Tang Shu-wing takes an audacious and ground-breaking approach in presenting the revenge classic of the Roman General Titus by storytelling in physical theatre with live music and body language. It focuses on the core of theatre where minimalism takes over. This play represents the most adventurous journey ever to explore every possibility in theatre, inevitably guiding audiences to the black holes in our hearts. (This programme contains contents which some audience members may find disturbing and is suitable for ages 12 or above.)

English Subtitles are available for the performance.

The performance will be followed by a discussion with the director Tang Shu-wing conducted in Cantonese.  (Simultaneous Interpretation in English will be available upon request before Feb 18. Please email to https://www.cedars.hku.hk/ge)
