Lai Chi Wo, a walled Hakka village with more than 400 years of history, is located at the northeastern part of the New Territories. The village is also a part of the Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark, due to its special geological significance as well as its natural and cultural landscapes.
Collaborating with Hong Kong Countryside Foundation, Produce Green Foundation, the Conservancy Association and Lai Chi Wo villagers, The University of Hong Kong has launched a programme to revitalise and sustain the landscape, natural, and cultural heritage and the community network of Lai Chi Wo.
In this 2-day-1-night camp, you will learn about the history and culture of Lai Chi Wo and appreciate the beauty of nature through hiking and hands-on farming experiences!
