上學期,同學們在導師帶領下利用舊卡板製作一系列流動裝置,令GE Gatherland2046煥然一新!現在GE概念店的設備準備就緒,是時候召喚「店長」/策展人,歡迎有興趣辦展覽(視覺/文學/多媒體藝術)或搞社區營造計劃的同學報名,在這小小空間創出無限可能。

With the great efforts of students and instructor of the workshop during the last semester, GE Gatherland2046 has been rejuvenated with the newly created, multi-functional mobile furniture built from used pallets. It’s time to recruit ‘store managers’/curators for the GE Concept Store! We welcome any student who is interested in curating exhibitions (visual/ literary/ multimedia arts) or doing community-building projects. Don’t hesitate to take up the challenge to actualise your plans and unleash the potential of this small space.

Bio of Instructor(s) 導師簡介:
Oscar HoOscar Ho specialises in the practice and critical studies of cultural management, particularly in the area of visual arts, museum management and curatorship. He was formerly Exhibition Director at the Hong Kong Arts Centre, Senior Research Officer at the Home Affairs Bureau of the Hong Kong Government, and Founding Director of Museum of Contemporary Art in Shanghai. He is currently Programme Director of the MA programme in Cultural Management, CUHK. He has been actively engaging in curatorial practice for over two decades and have curated many exhibitions locally and internationally in Asia, Europe and North America. He has also been actively engaged in community cultural projects and is one of the pioneers in the promotion of community art. He was a member of the Museum Advisory Group for the West Kowloon Cultural District, responsible for preparing the proposal for the new museum ‘M+’, and was a member of the Consultation Panel of the West Kowloon Authority.
 
Renatus WuRenatus Wu is an all rounded "Book Creator", who is a designer, publisher and editor. Wu has established Edited in 2011, the Hong Kong base design studio, and he is also the co-founder of the independent book shop – Book B & the cafe + gallery common room & co.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Wong Tin YanWong Tin Yan was born in Hong Kong. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, CUHK, in 2000. As a sculptor, he likes to collect some discarded wood pellet to create cartoon animal sculptures either by Chinese joining techniques or in DIY furniture style. His works are well received by the public and were collected by Hong Kong Museum of Art, local and overseas private collectors. In recent years, he teaches many wood workshops in schools from Kindergartens to Universities. Meanwhile, he loves to share his opinion and experiences as a columnist in newspaper and magazines. He is also the founder of a new art space, “Form Society”.
