Cashless Society – Are We Ready?
Do you think cash will disappear one day? Or is it just a matter of time? The rapid development of cashless payment systems has changed people’s daily lives, especially in Mainland China. It is easy to see the different payment options across the border; some applications are just landing here too. And with the advances in technology, people are anticipating a cash-free environment which seems to be more convenient and efficient. On the other hand, security and privacy issues of online or mobile transactions are a considerable concern. In this talk, experts are invited to share their views on the future development of cashless payments and their various impacts.
