通識與香港電台電視部自2016年起合作推出一系列《大學問》講座，深受同學及觀眾歡迎，於電視播放的《大學問》精華版在電視節目欣賞指數調查中名列頭十位。這個學期我們再接再厲，邀請不同領域獨當一面的人物，雲集大學講堂裏，與同學們對談。即將接棒的港大同學，無須複製前人的成功，不用墨守他們的舊說，但在與嘉賓現場對話的過程中，去傾聽、提問、探討、思考和感受，讓相互交纏的經驗轉化成留給城市的寶貴智慧。
《大學問》半小時精華版將於2018年10月21日起逢星期日晚上十時於港台電視31、及10月24日起逢星期三下午六時於無綫電視翡翠台播映，而足本版將於2019年1月5日起逢星期六下午一時於港台電視31播映。
Co-presented by GE and RTHK since 2016, the lecture series, Hall of Wisdom has been well received by students and the public, and the programme ranked among the top ten programmes in the “2016 TV Programme Appreciation Index Survey”. This semester, we continue this prominent programme and bring masters from different sectors to HKU to share their stories. Note that mindless replication of past success will not make you successful. We invite you to ask questions, refresh yourselves with their drive and dynamism, and turn their experiences into invaluable wisdom. You can use this knowledge transfer to make your contribution to your continued success, in all aspects of your lives.
The half-hour highlights of Hall of Wisdom will be broadcast every Sunday at 22:00 on RTHK TV 31 starting 21/10/2018 (Sun), and every Wednesday at 18:00 on TVB Jade, starting 24/10/2018 (Wed), while the full versions will be broadcast every Saturday at 13:00 on RTHK TV 31 starting 5/1/2019 (Sat).

由6歲當童星開始演藝生涯，於60年代與陳寶珠、薛家燕等粵語片女演員結拜為七公主，在當紅時暫別影壇遠赴美國留學，畢業後以奇特形象創造家傳戶曉的角色「林亞珍」，1995年憑《女人四十》成為大滿貫影后。她以個人影響力創立護苗基金，推動保護兒童免受性侵犯。
這是蕭芳芳雙耳失聰後首場面對現場觀眾的訪談，讓我們把聲音化成文字和肢體語言，與她談笑風生，一同窺探蕭芳芳傳奇往事，探討她對香港不同時代的象徵意義，從她身上學習人生應如何活得精彩。
這場講座是本學期《大學問》的第六節。
At the age of 71, how does Josephine Siao struggle with her ceaseless learning?
From the age of six, Siao was moving people to tears and laughter with films. She was one of the Seven Princesses formed in 1960s along with actresses Connie Chan and Nancy Sit, etc. Despite the fame, she walked away from her promising career to pursue studies in the US. After her graduation, Siao created the very popular comic character Lam Ah-chun. She achieved international recognition with the film Summer Snow (1995) which won her best actress awards. Siao founded the End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation with the aim of raising public awareness of the issue.
This is the first live interview with audience since Siao has hearing loss in both ears. Let’s convert our voice to text and body language. We will look into Siao’s legendary past, explore her significance to Hong Kong, and discuss how to live an amazingly wonderful life.
This is the sixth episode of Hall of Wisdom in the First Semester, 2018 – 2019.
