「為甚麼這個世界和我們想的都不一樣？」
楊德昌導演的最後一齣電影《一一》裏，昏迷了的婆婆沒有回答孫女的這個疑問。
「做的都不是自己喜歡的事，怎麼會快樂呢？」
同一齣電影中，人到中年的男主角經歷再一次的「青春」後，回應舊同學兼生意搭檔的「人生感悟」時提出更大的問句。
還有，八歲的小男孩提出了他老爸只能以支吾作反應的童問：
「我只能看到前面，看不到後面，這樣不是就有一半的事情看不到了嗎？」
到底，是世界跟我們想的不一樣？還是，我們自己就已經很難跟自己所想像的一樣？
想像與真實，是如何建立的一個過程？思想，是如何創構「我」？
楊德昌的電影《一一》，以電影創作向觀眾提出不能簡單回答的問題：對個性與精神獨立的認知，如何能重新啟發我們對自己、對世界、對時代的想法？
讓Edward Lam林奕華藉着把Edward Yang楊德昌的電影《一一》搬上舞台的機緣，大家一起探索世界其實可以怎麼樣。
誰是楊德昌：
世界三大影展康城影展迄今唯三獲得最佳導演的華人導演之一。
六十年的人生，導演的電影有七又四分一齣：《光陰的故事之指望》（短片）、《海灘的一天》、《青梅竹馬》、《恐怖份子》、《牯嶺街少年殺人事件》、《獨立時代》、《麻將》、《一一》，每一齣都獨特存在於華語電影的世界，捕捉當下的同時，也結晶了未來。
Edward Yang, a Taiwanese Director, was one of the leading figures in the New Taiwan cinema movement of the 1980s. He won the Best Director Award at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival with his best-known work, YiYi.
His other works include, In Our Time, That Day, On the Beach, Taipei Story, The Terrorizers, A Brighter Summer Day, A Confucian Confusion and Mahjong.
In this course, Edward Lam, Theater Director and playwright, will re-view, re-interpret and re-think the film YiYi directed by Edward Yang, and explore 'self and the world' with students.

Bio of Instructor(s) 導師簡介:
林奕華先生 Mr. Edward Lam「非常林奕華」藝術總監，劇場導演。至今編導五十九齣原創作品。香港藝術發展獎藝術家年獎（戲劇）得主，並分別憑《男人與女人之戰爭與和平》、《紅娘的異想世界之在西廂》、《紅樓夢》三獲上海現代戲劇谷「壹戲劇大賞」年度最佳導演獎。二零一六年台灣《PAR表演藝術》雜誌出版第一本研究林奕華導演作品的著作《Who’s Afraid of 林奕華：在劇場，與禁忌玩遊戲》（徐硯美著）。一九九七年開始主持通識課程。
