Inaugural Orientation Launch for Year 1 Undergraduate Students
Lead for Life, or L4L, is a new certificate programme on character-based leadership at HKU. It offers you amazing opportunities to make lifelong friends, to connect with industry-leading mentors, and to meet leaders from Oxford, Yale, Wake Forest and other universities. You can earn your L4L certificate by taking one L4L approved course, doing one service project, and being part of a mentoring group. L4L is open to all year 1 undergraduate students and will really give you a head-start at HKU.
We aim to create a community of Lead for Life leaders who will not only experience a flourishing life at the university, but also impact the community. Lead for Life places high value on the multicultural contributions of local and non-local students from different ethnic groups, and diversity of experiences from people of different abilities and disabilities. Such diversity enriches the Lead for Life community of leaders in formation.
The inaugural Lead for Life programme will begin at HKU on 9 -10 October 2021 with the student orientation launch.
