The acclaimed playwright Candace Chong has teamed up with director Tony Wong, winner of Best Director at the Hong Kong Drama Awards, to create a suspenseful tale of conflicting values between two generations of gay men, ‘We Are Gay’, teasing out the mysteries that underpin human relationships and the universal pursuit of happiness.

▍Pre-performance Workshop演前工作坊
Students will explore human happiness and desire and reflect of their own identity through the interactive exercises.

Fee: HK$120 (Including a ticket of We Are Gay《我們最快樂》, Pre-Performance Workshop at HKU, one extra Hong Kong Arts Festival Programme, and a “Festival Pass” to HKAF free programmes. A deposit of HK$60 will be refunded upon attendance of the performance and the workshop of We Are Gay)

Mr. Indy Lee 李俊亮先生
李氏集劇場導、演員、戲劇教育工作者、監製及藝術行政於一身。畢業於香港演藝學院戲劇學院導演系，後到 Royal Central School of Speech and Drama 深造，獲應用劇場(社區戲劇及戲劇教育)碩士。修畢伯特利神學院輔導學證書課程，及由香港大學及英國 Clore Leadership Programme 主辦的文化領航學程。2017-2021年間，為香港藝術發展局委員及戲劇組主席。李氏善於透過編作、形體動作、即興創作的戲劇形式，來開啟參與者的創意思維，發掘個人潛能及提昇人民素質。
Indy is a theatre director, actor, drama educator, producer, and arts administrator. After graduation from the School of Drama (Directing), at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), Indy earned his MA in Applied Theatre (Drama in the Community and Drama Education) at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in the UK. He also completed the Certificate of Counselling from Bethel Bible Seminary and the Advanced Cultural Leadership Programme organized by The University of Hong Kong and the Clore Leadership Programme. Indy was a Council Member and Chair of the Drama Group of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (2017 – 2021).
