GE2022-30
During the pandemic and quarantine times, what music have been accompanying you to go through those tough days?
One of the top songs on my playlist was “A Place in the Sun”, the new rendition by the Hawaiian musicians Jake Shimabukuro, Jack Johnson and Paula Fuga. Its heartfelt warmth could truly bring lots of light into my heart, including my 21-day quarantine hotel back in early 2022 and many other challenging times. I am sure you have your own choices too.
Music Salon has been gathering many diverse music lovers to share their favorite tunes, ranging from global hits to indie music, from classical to jazz to pop, and touching stories in the cosy GE Gatherland, well-equipped with audiophile speakers and Vinyl/CD players.
For this semester, some of you will embark on a new journey in life after graduation.
May the force be with you and moving on with hopes and courage!
Curator/Host: Dr. Wong Chi Chung
