Our Happy Thursday – Tea from Around the World continues to bring you the very best opportunities to learn more about various countries’ tea (or any beverage, such as soup, chocolate, coffee) culture and meet your HKU peers in the new semester.
Our student hosts will share beverages and snacks, along with stories about their tea culture and traditions.
Since 2017, student hosts from all over the world—including Australia, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Iran, Jamaica, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Mainland China, Morocco, Myanmar, Oman, Pakistan, Peru, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam—have shared the rich flavors of their teas and snacks, creating a vibrant tapestry of traditions, tastes, and stories from every corner of the globe.
