四季之戀 Seasons of Romance
「有一種東西/它會在某一個夏天的夜晚/像風一樣襲來/讓你措不及防/無法安寧/與你形影相隨/揮之不去。我不知道那是甚麼，只能稱它為愛情。」《頤和園》裡的余虹在日記中這樣寫道。這個學期，來Filmatic點一杯不加冰的愛情，配上一塊甜蜜，佐以一點心碎的滋味。由一次無痛的失戀開始，度過愛情的春夏秋冬，一覽戀愛的不同面向。
Romance blooms in the spring, greens in the summer, dances with golden leaves in autumn, and halts the winter cold. Join us as we journey through the seasons with the sweet and bitter of love.

陳果《妓女三部曲》Sex and Politics: Fruit Chan’s Prostitute Trilogy
暌違17年，陳果終於推出了「妓女三部曲」的最終章《三夫》。在3月28日正式上映前，讓我們重溫三部曲的前兩部經典，《榴蓮飄飄》和《香港有個荷里活》。導演亦將於三月底來到港大，與同學分享製作獨立電影的心路歷程。
Fruit Chan is one of the most iconic filmmakers in Hong Kong. While expecting the final chapter, Three Husbands, of his renowned trilogy of prostitute, Filmatic will be revisiting the previous two pieces to explore Chan’s insights into Hong Kong. In late March, Fruit Chan will be joining us in a forum to share his experiences in the industry.

沒有商業大片的雄厚資金，沒有當代影壇的一線明星，香港獨立電影導演、編劇、製作人陳果靠著一雙敏銳的眼，把對政治現況的針砭和對社會的洞察，以驚為天人的方式呈現給觀眾。自《香港製造》的「九七三部曲」開始，到今年「妓女三部曲」的最終章《三夫》問世，陳果的電影一直保持自己的風格，為草根人民發聲。這次搭上《三夫》的風潮，我們很榮幸邀請到陳果導演和我們談談即將上映的《三夫》和他二十多年的創作經歷。活動屆時將會首次放映電影《三夫》的幕後製作花絮。
It has been a challenge for independent filmmakers to create works without much financial support and presence of superstars. From Made in Hong Kong of the renowned "1997 Trilogy", to the recently completed Three Husbands of the "Prostitute Trilogy", Hong Kong independent filmmaker Fruit Chan has represented social and political issues through metaphorical lens and narratives.
Here comes the opportunity to meet and chat with Fruit Chan. He will be joining his working partner and screenwriter of Three Husbands, Mr. Lam Kee To, to share his experiences over the past 20 years as an independent filmmaker in Hong Kong.

同志婚姻合法化在近年已成為社會大眾密切關注的議題，與此同時，Filmatic特別選了三部以角色名字為片名的同志電影，「 以愛之名，我小小的河，漫流兩行傷痛」。
Legalising gay marriage has been a highly discussed subject matter in recent years. In Filmatic’s pick of LGBT films this semester, together let’s find out the meanings of authentic love with films named after their protagonists.
