GE Team邀請不同藝術家與同學共創藝術作品，為我們的多用途空間GE Gatherland 注入創意和想像。早前的工作坊包括塗鴉創作、多用途流動家具、及木頭車仔等等。
今次我們邀請到環保概念餐廳ROOOT及植物園Botanic Union的兩位主理人兼設計師Soto和Sam，帶領一眾同學為GE Gatherland設計新形象。在這四節的工作坊，我們會到位於南豐紗廠的ROOOT，了解生活和空間如何融入藝術、結合自然，及實踐永續生活方式，並將這份創意和想像注入GE Gatherland，共同創造出屬於大家的空間。
GE Team has been inviting different artists and HKU students to co-create art pieces and installations for our versatile space GE Gatherland. Previous workshops included graffiti wall, multi-functional mobile furniture, and wooden carts.
This time, Soto and Sam – co-founders and designers of a local cafe ROOOT and green space Botanic Union, are invited to revamp our GE Gatherland and co-create artworks with our HKU students.
This 4-session workshop includes a visit to ROOOT located at The Mills to understand how our everyday life and space incorporate with arts, green elements, and sustainability. Participants will co-create nature-inspired artworks by using upcycling materials to make GE Gatherland vibrantly comfy.
