The University Registration and Induction Programme for all HKUMed new students will be held face-to-face on August 17 and 23, 2021. Individual programme will host various orientation activities to freshmen as well, please stay tuned and check your HKU email account constantly for details and updates.
While new students should visit HKUMed New Student Portal for one-stop resources, please also observe the following important induction activities and information. Please save the date and reserve the time to participate.
After online Master Registration with HKU, students will be invited to join a face-to-face registration day at Medical Campus and Main Campus# of HKU on August 17, 2021 (Tuesday). Students will complete the following essential registration/ visit on-site*:

Online Talk on Course Selection with Q&A will provide an opportunity for all freshmen to obtain information and ask questions in relation to course selection before the first day of course selection on August 20, 2021.

It is mandatory for all HKUMed new undergraduate students to attend Faculty and Programme Induction on August 23, 2021 (Monday). New students will get to know the Faculty and its leaderships, meet with programme staff and break ice with other freshmen.

The Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS) provides new students with non-academic support and resources including new student adjustment and counselling support, support to students with disabilities and special educational needs (SEN Support), financial resources, housing, etc. CEDARS also offers co-curricular and out-of-classroom learning opportunities to students. New Students will visit your respective faculty societies to know more about the academic planning and get to know your fellow classmates. You will go around the campus to join clubs promoting different cultural, sports and other areas of interests. Students can also visit booths of different halls and join hall visits. Throughout the day, you can enroll for orientation activities by student societies/clubs.
