Connect with Courage: Social Anxiety Treatment Group

Social Anxiety Treatment Group

Do you Struggle with Social Anxiety?
  • Do you feel anxious when communicating with others?
  • Do you avoid situations for fear of being judged or evaluated?
  • Does your anxiety affect your social life, ability to express yourself, or participation in activities you enjoy?

It is normal to care about how others perceive us, but when this concern hinders your ability to form meaningful friendships, pursue opportunities, or achieve your goals, it can become a problem.

The Good News: Social anxiety can be treated with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Our treatment group consists of 6 sessions grounded in an evidence-based CBT approach

What Makes This Group Unique?

In addition to structured learning, you’ll have the opportunity to share your struggles and successes in a supportive environment, helping you build confidence in managing your anxiety.

After the Group, You Will:

  • Make sense of your own vicious self-perpetuating cycle of social anxiety;
  • Change your thinking patterns by learning to recognise and challenge thoughts that affect your social performance;
  • Discover practical strategies to confront challenges rather than avoid them;
  • Gain new experiences and perspectives;
  • Support one another and receive valuable feedback.
