Eligibility criteria

Applicant must be

• A local HK permanent resident;
• Full-time undergraduate newly admitted to HKU this year; and
• In receipt of comprehensive social security assistance prior to entry to the University.

Priority goes to those with financial difficulties to cover immediate expenses upon entry to university. Applicants are expected to apply for the Government TSFS to cover the bulk of their university expenses. CEDARS reserves the right to make final decision on eligibility.
