Mandatory Anti-Scam Training - Protect Yourself & Campus Access


As scams become more sophisticated worldwide, we want to help you stay safe. Last year in Hong Kong, there were 44,480 scam cases resulting in nearly HK$9.15 billion in losses. This alarming situation requires our collective attention.

All new students must complete the Anti-Scam Quiz within 14 days after finishing the online master registration.

Key Details:

✓ A quick 5-minute multiple-choice quiz on Moodle
✓ Important tips on how to identify and prevent scams

The quiz, titled "CEDARS Anti-Scam Learning Kit" will be available at https://moodle-infohub.hku.hk/ one working day after you complete your online master registration.

Important:
• You must pass the quiz with a score of at least 18 out of 22 by 5:00 PM on the deadline.
• Failure to do so will result in the loss of physical access to Chi Wah Learning Commons and all university libraries.
• Access will be restored within 2 working days after you successfully complete and pass the quiz.
