Summary 內容: Our Happy Thursday – Tea from Around the World continues to bring you the very best opportunities to learn more about various’ tea culture (or any beverage, such as soup, chocolate, coffee) from around the globe and meet your HKU peers in the new semester.
In this session, join us to explore chai from Pakistan, a comforting drink made with milk, sugar, and tea leaves, known for its rich flavour and soothing warmth. Beyond being a popular everyday beverage, chai also carries cultural meaning. In many communities in Pakistan, offering tea to guests is a gesture of warmth, respect, and hospitality, turning a simple cup of tea into a meaningful moment of connection.
