Notes on Equipment Booking ("the Service") (Please refer to the Guidelines on the Use of Equipment Booking)

1. The service is exclusively available for eligible student societies (subject to the review and approval from the University) and departments.
   Executive Committee members of these student societies are eligible for the service.
2. Only online applications are accepted. For application, please fill in the application form and send it back to cymac@hku.hk.
3. In general, the service is free of charge for Current HKU Student Societies registered with CCSO. Department users are required to pay for the rental charges.
4. All the equipment allocation is on first-come-first-served basis.
5. Transfer of bookings is prohibited.
6. Preparation and dismantling time is included in the booking hours.
7. Re-rent with profit is prohibited.
8. All equipment and furniture are restricted to use on the HKU campus only.
9. It is advised to check the quantity and condition of the equipment at the time of collection.
10. It is necessary to comply with the center staff's guidelines for appropriate storage and to verify the condition of the equipment with them when returning it.
11. Pick-up and return are available on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., except on Saturdays, Sundays, University and Public Holidays.
