Serve2Gather - HOPE in Action (Session 6)

Bun Festival Cultural Outing with Ethnic Minority Individuals and Families

Hong Kong is home to a vibrant and diverse community of ethnic minorities, who make up about 8% of the city’s population. The largest groups include Filipinos, Indonesians and South Asians, such as Indians, Nepalese, and Pakistanis. Many ethnic minorities have settled in Hong Kong for generations, with a significant proportion of younger members born and raised locally.

HOPE in Action is a community engagement initiative committed to fostering meaningful connections and promoting cultural understanding among the diverse communities of Hong Kong. Through engaging, interactive events, the programme advocates for social harmony, celebrates cultural diversity, and strengthens intercultural understanding among participants.

Target Beneficiaries: Over 150 ethnic minority members in Hong Kong
