About Us

The Chong Yuet Ming Cultural Centre (CYMCC) was established in 2016 with the aim to provide an enabling platform for arts and cultural events in the campus.

CYMCC managed by CEDARS, houses an auditorium, a studio and exhibition gallery. It is located at 3/F to 5/F above the Chong Yuet Ming Amenities Centre on the Main Campus.

The Yuet Ming Auditorium holding up to 400 seats, is the most modern and well-equipped proscenium theatre at HKU, which is designed for cultural performances, drama productions and various kinds of functions.

Studio 303 with a capacity of 148 seats, is an ideal performing venue for experimental performances in variety art forms, such as drama, dance, musical performance and theatrical workshop.

Exhibition Gallery is located at 5/F of CYMCC with approx. 134m2 of exhibition area, is an ideal place for student artwork display, posters and publicity presentation.
