Anti-Scam Student Ambassador Scheme 2026-2027
Are you a newly enrolled postgraduate student looking for a meaningful way to get involved on campus? CEDARS is recruiting Anti-Scam Student Ambassadors to help protect fellow students from scams and fraud for the 2026‑2027 academic year.
With scams targeting non-local and newly arrived students on the rise, your support can make a real difference in building a safer university community.
What you will do:
- Take part in the production of anti-scam short videos based on real cases
- Promote anti-scam messages through your networks and social media
- Assist in anti-scam campaigns, exhibitions, roadshows, and student gatherings
- Help educate fellow students on scam prevention and personal safety
Who should apply:
- Newly enrolled or current postgraduate students
- Students who enjoy meeting people and contributing to campus life
- Fluent in English, Mandarin, or Cantonese
- Passionate about helping others and raising scam awareness

What we offer (per ambassador):
- Honorarium: HK$300
- One complimentary ticket to Hong Kong Disneyland (subject to satisfactory participation and completion of all duties)

Important dates & process:
- Onboard: Around September 2026
- Period of service: September 2026 to July 2027
- Briefing: Provided before your service begins around October
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview
