Aside
from its tropical rainforests, coconut plantations, fine beaches, Fiji bottled
water, and well-known Rugby team, how much do you know about Fiji, an
archipelago of 322 islands? Here’s a great opportunity for you to enjoy
valuable cultural exchange through home-stays in local villages, explore the
wild jungles, and serve the Fijian community, all of which will allow you to
unlock some of the mystery and reveal the secrets of this gem of the South
Pacific.
Details:
1. Eligibility: Full-time undergraduates with
valid Uni-Y membership
2. Dates: (1) Pre-trip meetings: November – December 2015 (2) Trip: 9 – 16
January 2016 (3) Post-trip meetings and activity: February – April 2016
3. Program highlights: Community services, cultural exchange, jungle exploration,
home-stay in local village
4. Fee: $8000 + Deposit $1000**
5. Language of program: Cantonese and English
**Deposit
is refundable upon (1) satisfactory performance; (2) 80% attendance of all
pre-trip and post-trip meetings and activities; (3) completion of the trip; and
(4) submission of post-trip reflection.
