In a 2-hour walking tour, you will be led by HKU tour guides to explore old Stanley and its military and fishing history.

Stories of Fishermen and Stanley Community
Stanley is a fishing village with long history. From 1960s onwards, fishermen in Stanley have moved onshore. These fishermen’s stories tell their lives in the past and changes of Stanley. Historical spots to visit include: Carmelite Monastery, Tai Tam Bay, Hong Kong Sea School, St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Stanley Post Office, Old Stanley Police Station, Former Fishermen’s Children School, Fishermen’s Recreation Club, Shui Sin Temple, Stanley Bay, Tai Wong Temple, Tin Hau Temple, Murray House, Pier Blake at Stanley, Pak Tei Temple (distant view) and Maryknoll House (distant view). This itinerary is suitable for people of all ages, including children and youths.
