Prejudice or stereotypes often arise from ignorance. Different groups of “minorities” who are indeed significant part of our society are often neglected. If we are willing to take the initiative to hear stories which we may never get to hear, we could gain a better understanding of them. Come join the Joint University Service and Workshop Day –  "Less" Know More on 8 April 2017!  This is a great chance for you to know someone inside out through a human library, services and workshops! The less you know, the better you should know!

1. Dates & Time: 8 April 2017, 9:00am – 6:00pm.
2. Venue: (a) Human Library (morning)- Hong Kong Baptist University (b) Service/ Workshop (afternoon)- venue varies across from different services/ workshops

 Participants will have the opportunity to interact with 3 of the following guests in 3 different sharing sessions:

A. South Asian New Immigrant - Bish
B. Cancer Survivor - Polly
C. Physically Disabled Athlete - Fung Sir
D. Treated Addict - 大B (Dai B)
E. Traditional Craftsman – Wong Nai Chung
F. Ex-mental Health Patient  – 阿邱 (Ah Yau)
G. Refugee – Nasr
H. Local Farmer –  輝哥 (Fai)
