Inauguration Ceremony for New Students 2017

The Inauguration Ceremony is the first formal University gathering for new students. New students will meet the President, senior academics, alumni bodies and the President of HKUSU. The President will give an inaugural address and host the Robing Ceremony during which freshmen will put on the HKU traditional Green Gown. Tea receptions for respective Faculties will provide a good platform for students to meet their teachers.
Seats are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Students will be directed to satellite lecture theatres to watch a live broadcast when the Hall is full.
Dress Code: Formal (Green Gowns will be provided on the day)
